Gordana Ristic, born in Belgrade and currently residing in Rome, is an accomplished Executive Producer and film distribution consultant. With extensive experience in the Italian and Serbian entertainment industries, she has played a key role in fostering international collaborations, film production, festival organization, and talent development.
Career Highlights
Early Career & Theatre
In 2019, Gordana made her debut as an Executive Producer in theatre with the play Solo 7 minuti, directed by Tommaso Busiello. In the same year, she joined the Cinema Players acting school, led by renowned Casting Director Rita Forzano, where she created the Personality and Psyche of an Actor program. She collaborated with industry professionals such as Blasco Giurato, Roberto Leoni, and Rita Forzano.
Film Production & Festival Organization
In 2020, she worked with Fenice Production Srl, a film company led by Claudio Alfonsi. By 2021, she became the official Italian representative for the Serbian production company Stankovic & Sinovi and started working with Gabriella Carlucci, Artistic Director of the Italian-Serbian Film Festival, contributing significantly to its organization.
In 2022, she was involved in the creation of a short documentary about the Italian-Serbian Film Festival, presented at the Venice Film Festival.
Awards & Recognition
In 2023, Gordana was honored at the Trani Festival del Cinema e del Mare in Puglia for her contributions to Italian-Serbian cultural relations. She also expanded into film distribution, bringing Serbian films to Italy, including Santa Petka – The Cross in the Desert by Hadzi-Aleksandar Đurović.
Since 2023, she has collaborated as an Executive Producer with Caput Mundi Entertainment.
Recent & Ongoing Projects
In 2024, she managed the distribution of Megdan – Between Water and Fire, directed by Todor Chapkanov and produced by Aleksa Balasevic, for Italian festivals. The film opened the Ischia Global Film Festival, winning two awards, and later won Best European Film at the Catania Film Fest, where Gordana received the Special Award for Distribution.
